Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 315,000 in August, and the unemployment rate
rose to 3.7 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported.
There was a massive jobs report posted Friday morning showing payrolls increased by 528,000 in July, which is much better than anticipated in a sign of strength for the jobs market.
