Ed Murray brings over 35 years of Human Resources experience at pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical research organizations such as PPD, Covance Laboratories, Syneos Health, Baxter Healthcare/Caremark, Abbott Laboratories, and TAP Pharmaceuticals.
As CHRO of PPD, Ed led the global Human Resources team supporting 25,000 employees in over 50 countries. He brings both public and private equity-owned company experience, including serving as a leader in the transition of pubic to private and private to private. With extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, Ed understands the dynamic needs of a growing organization, the challenges of integrating organizations, and the talent needs required to drive EBITDA expansion.
Most recently, as Vice President of Talent Optimization at Syneos Health, Ed led targeted efforts to identify opportunities, build strategies, and implement actions to attract and retain key talent through a period of high growth amidst shifts in the industry and an evolving employment dynamic.
Ed earned an undergraduate degree in Finance from Western Illinois University and an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
