It is most often utilized in cases where position total annual compensation is 150,000 dollars or greater, or where viable candidates are extremely rare. Executive level candidates are conditioned to avoid most contingency search firms and contingency searches due to the high number of contingent search firms that do not demonstrate the level of confidentiality and professionalism expected from an executive search firm.
Engaged Search – Moreover, HCS offers an engaged search for mid level searches (total annual compensation less than 150,000 dollars). Clients place a non-refundable deposit to launch the search. The remaining fee is contingent upon HCS placing a candidate and the deposit is applied to the remaining balance.
